Peer Review

All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Mechanical Engineering undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and originality of published research.

Submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by the Editorial Board for their suitability with the journal’s aims and scope and basic academic and technical quality. Manuscripts meeting the initial requirements are sent to independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

Evaluation criteria

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, technical quality, methodology, results, significance, and presentation. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Revision

Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ comments. Revised manuscripts may be subject to further review before a final decision is made.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts and review reports are treated as confidential, and reviewers are expected to maintain impartiality and disclose any potential conflict of interest.
